Mystery Quilt

I had already decided that 2009 was going to be the year of stashbusting and was looking for inspiration to get me going. Fortunately Bonnie is starting a new mystery on New Years Day so it seemed to be a perfect match. Especially when I saw the fabrics she was using. As anyone who knows me will understand when I say I won't need to buy anything!

As for the stashbusting I have decided to keep track of what I buy and what I use. My aim at the end of the year is to have used more than I buy. I tried something similar a couple of years ago and was a dismal failure. But I really need to do something.

Thank goodness the 14 yards of fabric I ordered from Hancock's arrived today so I will not have to count that!
