Two Birthdays

Two of the girls at work turned 21 this week. Rosie made them leis from gardenias. I had never seen or more importantly smelt a fresh flower lei. Absolutely gorgeous.



Ask a 21 year old what they want for lunch and we weren't surprised by the answer of pizza and salad. Topped off with a magnificent cake.

Birthday

It was my birthday yesterday and I had a lovely day. Laurie does not have a good track record when it comes to my birthdays but that changed.

Some shopping for Thomas Sabo charms and a bracelet and necklace to display them. I love charms so a new brand had to be added to my collection.





Then off to the local quilt shop where I bought myself lovely fabric as my present to me.



Dinner was at a local seafood restaurant. I had what was described as seafood stew. Prawns calamari and fish in a tomato and saffron broth. Laurie had whole lemon sole. All consumed with a lovely bottle of white wine.

Home in time to watch the new episode of Spooks.
