Design Wall monday

Today's post shows the start of what has to become a quilt by Saturday. Only a top mind. Some overachievers in the group apparently have finished quilts LOL.

For the last 9 or so years a group of about 20 has done an annual challenge. Each year someone picks what we all be making. Often a fabric pack is the starting point. You can make whatever you want and whatever size.We have at least 12 months. Each year I have grand plans to start early but inevitably begin the weekend before. Sometimes I finish, sometimes I don't.

So here's the charm pack for this year. Every fabric needs to be used at least once and you can add to it or not. Stop back next Monday to see what I came up with.

Pop over here to see what others having been doing this week.

there are so many things to do with a charm pack. One idea that I had to buy a charm pack for (cut them, then, ahem, haven't touched it since....) is a baby quilt made out of coins. Cut each charm in half and it was such neat, quick (well, for most people!! not ones who get side tracked!!) and it's a great little project to either keep as a lap quilt - or to gie as a gift. And, you would be done before the dealine!! I have how-to's if intersted (I will find them!!!)
that is a neat thing to have as a group - a yearly challange. I hope your project works out for you and you do find the time to get it done!!
