Design Wall Monday

Not a whole lot going on here this week seeing as I have the dreaded summer cold. My stitching theme for the week would have to be English paper piecing. I started sewing together the block from last week, a star for a baby quilt and lots of 3/4 hexagons for the background of one of the quilts I'm doing in class this year.

Today Cleo had to go to the vet for teeth extraction. The poor thing lost six. Bad teeth is hereditary - the same thing happened to her brother six months go. Because she couldn't eat we played with the camera for a while last night. I do think she is gorgeous.

Home from the vets tonight and I knew she was OK when she smelled the prawns we had bought her as a treat and she devoured 4 in as many minutes.

Head on over to Judy's to see what others have been doing.

Poor baby! I'm glad she had prawns as a treat, must have taken her mind off her troubles. You are a good Mum to her.

Those small diamonds look very small indeed; how many of those so you have to make?

What a cute kitty. I'm not a fan of paper piecing!

Love the last pic!
6 teeth..poor baby. Some vet suggested to us once that we use a toothpaste for cats to clean Indiana's teeth as they weren't looking too good. Hmmmmmm..have you tried to clean a cat's teeth? The whole idea had whiskers on it!
