Day 12

Missed posting yesterday but with good reason. Ivy was here for the night. She is like a tornado at the moment so about the only time she is still is when she is having dinner. She does love her spaghetti.

 

I had class yesterday so managed to prep another block for the Red Riding Quilt. Eventually I will have to think of another name for it as mine is going to feature animals. All in good time.

 

My rose bush continues to delight.

 

Today I knew I was going to be tired so some time at lunch for some crochet.

 

Off in a minute to watch Survivor then it's bed for me.

 

Day 5

A fun day in class today with Karen Cunninghham. Lots of laughs and even managed to get her on Instagram. I started to see my rows together for the first block in the mystery quilt. I am having all sorts of trouble including sewing units the wrong way.

 

I also spent some time this evening starting sewing together the components of Brigette's quilt Little Red Riding Hood. I will have to call mine something else as I am going to feature animals. I have used a bird fabric for the first time. Anyone who knows me knows of my fear of them however as this quilt is for Ivy they need to be included as she loves them.
