Stashbusting and a bag

Surely it can't be Wednesday already! If the first two weeks of this year are any indication my stashbusting efforts are doomed to failure. Still it could have been worse. In my defence the 6 yards of shot cotton were ordered before Xmas. So to the tally board -:

Fabric used this week 1 1/4 yards

Fabric Used this year 2 yards

Fabric purchased this week 8 yards

Fabric purchased this year 10 3/4 yards

Net reduction + 8 3/4 yards

One of the ways I used some of my stash this week was making my first ever bag.You use fabric and pet mesh of all things. it was a quick and easy project and I will probably make some more for gifts. Forgive me for the poor picture, I'm still learning.
